Akash Kaushik is a corporate & commercial lawyer and founder of SGL, having an experience of more than 14 (Fourteen) years in handling assignments related to real estate, due-diligence reports, power sector, litigation, company law, contract law, project finance, foreign direct investment, transactions including foreign exchange, liaisoning with government offices in different matters, formulation of business strategies and the documentation involved therein, foreign exchange management act, competition law, merger and acquisition transactions, intellectual property rights dealing with patent laws, copyright laws & trademark laws, compliance of foreign corrupt practices act of United States in India, prevention of corruption act, 1988, Right to Information (RTI) matters and other corruption related laws of India.
He provides a perfect blend of consistent high quality expertise derived from immense transactional experience and innovative thought in providing solutions to delicate transactional-legal needs within the often complex Indian regulations, foreign laws and various other commercial regulations working closely with bankers/lenders and professionals from other disciplines.
